Himalayan Sherpa 3-1 Friends Match Report with Highlights

Himalayan Sherpa Club registered a 3-1 win against Friends club today in a knock out fixture of Ncell Cup 2070.
It was the opening match of Ncell Cup held here at Kathmandu in Dasharat Stadium.

Pukar Gahatraj scored in 38th minute to give Himalayan Sherpa the lead. Segun was tackled by Ajit Prajapati and Himalayan Sherpa were given a penalty spot.

The half ended with Himalayan Sherpa  with scored line of  1-0.

Dhiraj Tamang  doubled the Sherpan’s lead in 63rd minute. Arjun Subba pulled one for Friends club in 73rd minute.

The win was sealed by Himalayan Sherpa when a minute later Segun Akinade scored his first and third for the team.

Bikash Gauchan the Sherpa coach said that his side was going to win in a pre-match press conference. And his team proved him correct.

Himalayan Sherpa were beaten by Friends Club in previous fixture. They played in British Gorkha Cup and A Division League and Sherpas were beaten both the times. It was sweet revenge for the Mountaineers where as  it was a bad end for Friends Club.

On the other result from the first game of Ncell Cup 2070, Nepal Army Club beat Jawalakhel Youth Club 2-1.
